2026 05 16 Stay by Marc Forster and David Benioff

super strange! whenever poeple say something is "dream-like" i dont believe them lmao. critics have a habit of calling things dreamlike when really they mean confusing, disjointed, weird. but Stay really is dreamlike. as well as confusing, disjointed, and weird. the homoerotic nature of the film carries it through its slow sections. theres a bit where the two leads are yelling at eachother and their voices kept overlapping and it really spoke to me as a system. idk if id every rewatch it. but it was ok.

this movie takes place around 10 years after being gay was decriminalized in the USA and dares to ask what would the word think of you if you could refute every stereotype about who you are. and the answer is when you disappear everyone would feel your absence a thousand times over. u may be no one but you will always be someone.


2026 04 28 Braindead by Peter Jackson

this movie is so fucking bad. its hilarious holy shit. theres so much gore and a weird momcon thing going on but its just so insane. not one part of this movie is good. this is the perfect movie to watch with a group of people or if ur a necrophile lmao. its rated 3.9 on ltrbxed and i really get why. this is what i wanted from evil dead. its way longer than it should be and i cant even begin to understand why? like were they just bored? i dont know. its illegal to present to the public in germany, singapore and south korea because its so... yknow.. the uncut version is pretty hard to track down! i dont know if its even worth finding over a cut version tbh. follow ur hearts though.
